Despite living Houston since graduating high school I have not attended the art car parade I have not attended the art car parade in the last 25 years or so. nearly 300 art cars drove through downtown and onto Allen Parkway (if they could make it that far). It was full of Low riders, followed by baby boomers who never grew out of their hippie phase, followed by teenagers who were lucky enough to spend some class time trashing an old sentra. All in all, I loved it. I'll leave you now with some fun photos as I plan my hypothetical car for next year's parade.
